This session will expose the true face of the failed BJP Government. It will be proved that rattled BJP Government is curtailing Session instead of curtailing Wasteful Expenditure, charged Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
Opposition MLAs are all set to question the Government on issues concerning Goa and Goans. We have already received support from some Ministers & few ruling MLAs who have publicly exposed misrule & misdeeds of the Government on drug trade, prostitution, dance bars, extortions, touts & other issues, Yuri Alemao said.
Replies to our Legislative Assembly Questions will get facts and figures on failure of the failed BJP Government to create Employment Opportunities, Disaster Management, Deliberate ignorance on Mhadei issue, failure to control Price Rise, Failure to fill vacancies in Government Departments due to Bankruptcy and above all details of multiple Croes spent on Events & Publicity, claimed Yuri Alemao.
Pollution, Illegalities, Irregularities in Cuncolim Industrial Estate, Healthcare Facilities in Cuncolim, Traffic Congestion in Cuncolim, Alignment of National Highway passing through Cuncolim Constituency are major issues on my priority list, said Yuri Alemao.
I appeal to all Social Welfare Schemes Beneficiaries, Mid Day Meals Suppliers, Para Teachers, Sportspersons in Indigent Conditions, Contractors who have not received their payments for past many months to keep a watch on the Assembly proceedings. They will know how insensitive BJP Government deprived them their rightful timely financial assistance and monthly salaries & instead spent on self glorification events & publicity stunts, stated Yuri Alemao.
I have already signed on the “Calling Attention” on Shack Operators issues and I hope all other MLAs keeping aside Party affiliations will support the same to protect the traditional business of Goa. I have also assured Scheduled Tribe Community Delegation which met me to take up their issue of Academic as well as Political Reservations, informed Yuri Alemao.
I have received various representations from Persons with Disabilities, Womens Organisations, Nagoa-Verna Residents, Bhoma Residents and others. I will try my best to perform by duties to ensure that their voices are heard in the assembly.
