In a spectacular display of strength and physique, Mahakal Fitness Studio and United Sports Club Mardol, in collaboration with the Goa Body Builders Association (GBBA), successfully organized the Mr. Goa 2024 competition. The event took place on February 23, 2024, at the Football Ground in Mardol.
The competition featured a thrilling showcase of talent across six weight categories: 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, and above 75kgs, along with Men’s Physique Championship and Inter-Collegiate Bodybuilding Men’s Physique Championship.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Shri. Sunil Bhomkar, a prominent businessman and social worker, along with dignitaries such as Veling ZP Shri. Damodar Naik, Mardol Police Inspector Shri. Ragoba Kamat, and USC President Adv. Varad Mardolkar, among others.
The event attracted a large audience who eagerly witnessed the competition, highlighting the dedication and hard work of the participating athletes. A total of 90 athletes showcased their prowess, and the judges’ panel, consisting of Mahendra Dessai, Satya Naik, Viraj Arabekar, Umesh Amirkar, Vinay Patkar, and stage marshal Shrideep Dessai, had the challenging task of determining the winners.
Mr. Goa 2024 proved to be a prestigious and grand event, celebrating the spirit of bodybuilding and athleticism in the state. The success of the competition reflects the enthusiasm and commitment of both organizers and participants in promoting fitness and healthy competition in Goa.
