Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant tuned in to the 131st episode of Mann Ki Baat delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing the address as inspiring and forward-looking.

The Chief Minister stated that the Prime Minister highlighted India’s growing leadership in technology through the Global AI Impact Summit. He said it was encouraging to learn how artificial intelligence is being used not only in advanced innovation but also in everyday applications — from assisting dairy farmers with round-the-clock livestock health monitoring to preserving ancient manuscripts and traditional knowledge for future generations.

He further noted that the Prime Minister underlined India’s emergence as the world’s largest producer of rice, reflecting the strength and resilience of Indian farmers who are blending traditional practices with modern techniques and value-added agriculture.

The Chief Minister also referred to the revival of the Kerala Magh Kumbh at Tirunavaya, stating that it showcased India’s civilisational continuity — different rivers and regions united by a shared stream of faith and culture that binds the nation together.

He added that the Prime Minister’s message to students stood out, particularly the reassurance that marks do not define one’s worth and that every child is an “Exam Warrior,” offering motivation to students preparing for examinations across the country.

Inspired by the themes of innovation, cultural pride and citizen responsibility, the Chief Minister urged citizens to remain vigilant against digital fraud, promote Swadeshi initiatives, support farmers, and work collectively towards building a self-reliant and developed India.
