GOA, September 28th, 2026: Mansion House Packaged Drinking Water brought its celebration of Goa’s grassroots football culture to a thrilling close as the 2nd Mansion House Football Cup 2026 Tournament concluded at the Government School Playground in Cuncolim, with Guardian Angel S.C. emerging champions after a closely contested finale against Parish Youth Nuvem.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, Mansion House returned as the Title Sponsor of the tournament, bringing together 16 village football teams from across Goa over 20 days of competitive football, community participation and on-ground engagement. The tournament, organised by the Cuncolim Union and managed by VJT Arts, culminated in a high-energy finale that brought players, families and passionate football supporters together in celebration of the sport.
The tournament finale saw Guardian Angel S.C. and Parish Youth Nuvem battle it out in a closely fought encounter that remained goalless at the end of regulation time. The championship was ultimately decided through a penalty shootout, with Guardian Angel S.C. converting four penalties to Parish Youth Nuvem’s two. Flezer Gomes, Valentino Carvalho, Norman Dias and Imson Fernandes found the net for the winners, while Albino Pereira and Inacio Colaco scored for Parish Youth Nuvem.
For Mansion House, the tournament represented more than a sponsorship property; it was an opportunity to be part of the communities and sporting culture that make football such an integral part of life in Goa. From taking the tournament into local communities through a 20-day branded mobile roadshow across North and South Goa, to creating a strong brand presence across match venues, Mansion House remained visible throughout the tournament journey.
The brand’s presence extended across player jerseys, runner boards, welcome boards and venue branding, complemented by consumer engagement activities, contests, merchandise and giveaways. The tournament provided Mansion House with multiple touchpoints to engage directly with football fans, families and communities across the state.

The tournament also celebrated individual performances, recognising the players who stood out across the competition. Riyan Asapurkar of Betalbatim Sports Club was named Player of the Tournament, while Oswin Rodrigues of Guardian Angel S.C. was awarded Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. Cruz Gomes of Guardian Angel S.C. received the Best Defender award, while Joywin Costa of Parish Youth Nuvem was named Best Midfielder. Norman Dias of Guardian Angel S.C. was recognised as Best Striker, while Albert Pereira of Parish Youth Nuvem received the First Scorer of the Finals award.
The grand finale was graced by Shri Subhash Phal Desai, Hon’ble Minister of Social Welfare, River Navigation, Drinking Water and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Goa, as Chief Guest. Shri Arun Steevan D’Souza, Zonal Sales Head – West India, Tilaknagar Industries Ltd., attended as Guest of Honour.
