Governor Shri. Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju Graces Goa Auto Show 2026

Panjim, Goa | September 27, 2026: The Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, visited the Goa Auto Show 2026 at Kala Academy, Darya Sangam, Panjim, today, taking a tour of the exhibition and exploring its diverse showcase of automobiles, electric vehicles, premium cars, two-wheelers and rare vintage and classic vehicles.

During his visit, the Governor interacted with the organisers and took a keen interest in the wide range of vehicles on display. He was particularly fascinated by the vintage and classic cars and bikes, which brought together examples of automotive design and engineering from different eras. The exhibition also features new-age mobility and leading automotive brands, creating a showcase that connects the heritage of automobiles with their evolving future.

Speaking during his visit, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Hon’ble Governor of Goa, said, “The Goa Auto Show is a wonderful platform that brings together innovation, technology and the rich heritage of automobiles. I was particularly fascinated to see the vintage cars and bikes and the remarkable craftsmanship that has gone into preserving these vehicles. At the same time, it is interesting to see how rapidly the automobile industry is evolving with electric mobility and new technologies. Such exhibitions provide visitors with an opportunity to appreciate both the legacy of automobiles and the exciting possibilities of the future.”

The Governor’s visit added further significance to the three-day automotive showcase, which has brought together new-age electric vehicles, luxury automobiles, two-wheelers, newly launched models and a rare collection of vintage and classic vehicles for automobile enthusiasts and visitors in Goa.
