Porvorim: LoP Yuri Alemao, through a Calling Attention motion, raised concern over the proposed introduction of Reverse Vending Machines (RVM) and the Deposit Refund Scheme (DRS) without adequate public awareness or consultation.
He cautioned that such measures should not be implemented without taking people into confidence. Alemao stressed that a pilot project is essential to understand the functioning and processes before rolling out the scheme on a larger scale.
