Canacona, 4th October 2026: Goa Pradesh Youth Congress President Adv. Archit Naik was the Chief Guest at the Gandhi–Shastri 5-km Marathon, organised by Shri Mallikarjun and Chetan Manju Dessai College, Canacona, and flagged off the event at 7:00 AM today.
The marathon was organised to mark Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, promoting health, fitness, discipline and an active lifestyle among the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Archit Naik said, “Health is wealth. A healthy and active youth is the foundation of a strong Goa and a strong nation.”
He congratulated the organisers and participants for their enthusiastic participation and for promoting the message of fitness among the youth.
