Curchorem – The main roads in Curchorem have been in a dangerous state for several months, with large potholes forcing local residents to travel at great risk every day. Schoolchildren, ambulances, two-wheeler riders, and motorists are all facing severe difficulties due to the poor condition of the road.

Following the monsoon, both the number and depth of potholes have increased, with mud accumulation making the roads slippery and further raising the risk of accidents. The local leadership warned that if repair works are not started within the next few days, the agitation will be intensified. Large numbers of residents, including women, participated in the protest, raising slogans against the administration.
