Panaji, Goa: The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress has announced its full support to the ‘Ami Ponjekar’ panel and to Surendra Furtado for the post of Mayor of Panjim.
In a press note issued on Friday, the Youth Congress stated that it believes the Ami Ponjekar panel reflects progressive leadership, transparency, and a people-centric approach to governance. The organisation expressed confidence that under the leadership of Surendra Furtado as Mayor, Panjim would see responsive administration and inclusive development focused on the needs of citizens.
The Youth Congress further said that its karyakartas and youth leaders will actively campaign across various wards in Panjim to mobilise support for the panel. It added that grassroots outreach initiatives will be undertaken to ensure that the message of accountable and development-oriented governance reaches every household.
Calling upon the people of Panjim to support the Ami Ponjekar panel and Surendra Furtado, the Youth Congress urged citizens to join in building a stronger, cleaner, and more vibrant city.
