Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa President Amit Palekar has criticized the BJP-led Goa government and Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant for the deteriorating condition of a government school in Merces. Palekar expressed concern over the safety of over 100 students and teachers forced to continue in the school despite its poor infrastructure.
In his statement, Palekar called the situation a “sad state of education in Goa,” challenging the government’s claim of increasing enrollment in government schools. He also highlighted the model schools established by AAP in Delhi and Punjab, proposing that AAP Goa adopt a school to demonstrate its approach to improving education.
