Panaji: A student delegation led by Namdev Shirodkar and Aatrey Bhide met Shri Bhushan K. Savaikar, Director of Higher Education, to discuss issues related to NEP students and pending examination matters.
During the meeting, the delegation was informed that the results of the Third Year NEP batch are expected to be declared by June 27 or 28, subject to the completion of Goa University’s evaluation and result-processing procedures.
The delegation was also informed that re-examinations for backlog students are likely to be conducted soon after the declaration of results by Goa University. Detailed schedules and related information will be communicated by the concerned authorities and respective colleges in due course.
The student representatives raised concerns regarding delays in examination results, academic progression, future planning for students, and the timely conduct of re-examinations to ensure that students do not suffer academic loss due to procedural delays.
The delegation appreciated Shri Bhushan K. Savaikar for his constructive engagement with student representatives and for taking proactive steps to address student concerns. The students also expressed their commitment to working collaboratively with the concerned authorities to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting students and their academic progression.
