Panaji: Based on complaints received from general public during police public meeting at Mapusa the Mapusa police today took preventive action against 04 women for soliciting in public.As per SDPO Mapusa based upon the complaints of public Mapusa police station staff along with NGO member on 21/06/2022 found 04 women soliciting customers at bus stand areas and further they were brought to police station and statements were recorded. A report had also been sent to the SDM, Mapusa for taking preventive measures against the women. The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of SP north Shri Shobit Saxena IPS , SDPO Jivba Dalvi and PI Paresh Naik.
