Porvorim- Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte initiated a comprehensive inspection of the main highway works, involving all relevant departments to ensure smooth development with minimal disruption to local communities and infrastructure.
“We are committed to infrastructure projects and ensuring they are well-coordinated to minimize public disruption,” said Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte. “Our goal is to achieve development objectives while maintaining ease of commute for our residents.”
In response to local concerns, the government is also working to mitigate challenges faced by small businesses and address safety issues on service roads. The service road development, a long-standing aspiration, is part of our vision. With heavy traffic in areas like Coquiero Junction, effective traffic management is crucial. The government is emphasizing well-coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
The state calls for a final presentation to the Chief Minister, ensuring alignment among local panchayats and the National Highway Authority. A key meeting is scheduled for Saturday to address outstanding issues and ensure smooth development. This meeting will include the contractor, consultant, and government departments.
