Panaji: Mapusa Police have booked one teacher of Higher Secondary School under stringent sections of POCSO act and Children’s Act Goa.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi a complaint was received from the management of one Higher Secondary School in North Goa complaining that one male teacher has been staring, asking phone numbers with student minor girls and touching them inappropriately and further also making gesture towards them.
In this connection upon receipt of complaint FIR under sections 509, 354-A, 354-D , Section 8 of Goa Childrens Act, and Section 8, 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences has been registered.
Further investigation is in progress.
