Panaji: Anjuna Police on 05.09.2022 in evening hrs conducted a drugs raid near Ganpati temple, Assgao, Bardez Goa.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi accused person namely Mr. Niyaz S/o Abdul Khader, age 28yrs, r/o Hno. 525, Bhovtawado, Assgao, Bardez Goa was found in possession of 11.09 grams of Narcotic Drug Charas W/Rs. 25,000/-.
The accused person had come to deliver drugs to prospective customers when he was nabbed.
He has been placed under arrest under sections 22(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act and presently in police lock up.
Further investigation is in progress with PI Prashal Dessai & PSI Dhiraj Devidas of Anjuna Police Station
