Goa is preparing to host the 56th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from November 20 to 28. The nine-day festival will include film screenings, cultural programmes and industry-related events. The festival will begin tomorrow with a Grand Opening Parade featuring tableaus from Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Goa, along with displays by film studios and a special 50-year tribute by NFDC. Folk artists from different parts of the country will also take part in the procession.
This year’s festival will feature nine days of film screenings, cultural programmes and industry-related events. Preparations across Goa are in full swing, with key infrastructure and logistical arrangements being put in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for delegates, participants and visitors.
