Congress Party has objected to the performance of Non-Goan Artists at a Musical Concert organised at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao yesterday as part of three day celebrations. The same concert will be held at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco and some other places in Goa.
Why Goan Singers and Musicians were not given an opportunity to perform? Is it because BJP cannot set “Commission Deals” with Goan Performers? questioned Divya Kumar.
We have information that initial budget for the three day programme was of 1.25 crores. This huge estimate was prepared to coverup cost of “Mahaprasad” to be offered in various Temples in Margao and Fatorda in the name of Margao MLA and Ex-MLA of Fatorda. Both of them wanted to earn goodwill at the cost of Government Funds, claimed Divya Kumar.
We are keeping a close watch on every event and especially the expenditure. Our workers are documenting everything so that we will be able to expose the misdeeds of false claims in events, said Divya Kumar.
I appeal to Goans not to get carried away with False Propoganda of BJP whose actual agenda is of making Fortunes by using name of Shree Ram, stated Divya Kumar.
