Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting of the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services to assess its operations, preparedness and overall management. During the meeting, the Chief Minister examined the department’s functioning, with particular emphasis on expediting the issuance of Fire Safety NOCs while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards.
Dr. Sawant also reviewed the availability of resources, response systems and operational readiness of the department. He directed officials to further strengthen efficiency, coordination and public service delivery to ensure enhanced fire safety and emergency response across the state.
