Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant presided over the 98th Board Meeting of the Goa Rehabilitation Board, attended by MLA Shri Rajesh Faldessai, Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, Finance Secretary, Revenue Secretary, Deputy Collectors from North and South Goa, and other Board Members.
The meeting addressed critical issues, with significant decisions as follows:
👉🏼 Ownership Title Transfers: Approval was granted for transferring ownership titles to rehabilitated individuals in Sada, Vasco, and other areas.
👉🏼 Future Rehabilitation Projects: Adoption of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for upcoming projects, with three key projects identified for fast-tracking.
👉🏼 Staff Regularisation: Creation of necessary posts to regularize staff.
👉🏼 Salary and Grant Disbursement: Salary grants to be disbursed in a single installment in April, while revenue account grants will be released in two installments.
👉🏼 Budget Approval: The Board approved a demand for grants totaling ₹85 crore for the 2025-26 financial year.
