Reacting to the unfortunate death of a youth from Ribandar Ayush Rupesh Halarnkar after his bike fell in the unguarded Pit dug for Smart City Work, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao urged the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to act against all those who are responsible for shattering families.
The unguarded open pit near People’s High School in Panaji was exposed by the media just two days ago. But the irresponsible and careless Authorities did not take cognizance which resulted in Second Death caused due to haphazard Smart City Works, claimed Yuri Alemao.
Will the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant dare to Name the Urban Naxals who are responsible for the Total Mess in the Smart City Works undertaken by Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) by spending almost 1500 crores has snatched away two innocent lives, injured many people and damaged vehicles? Will the Chief Minister reveal what action the Government has taken against the Culprits? Questioned Yuri Alemao.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant should set an example by taking stringent action against all those who are in a way promoting Urban Naxalism by Looting the State Treasury by doing sub-standard works. This is nothing but BJP Government sponsored Urban Naxalism in Goa, charged Yuri Alemao.
I once again reiterate my Demand to conduct a High Level Inquiry under Retired High Court Judge of all the Works carried out under Smart City and Amrut Mission. Denial of the same will vindicate our stand that the Corruption in the said Works is with the Blessings of the BJP Government, stated Yuri Alemao.
