AAP Goa leaders Valmiki Naik and Roque Mascarenhas met the State Election Commissioner today after the sudden and unexplained change of the Raia ZP seat reservation—from ST to ST (Women)—in a revised Gazette.
AAP questioned the State Election Commission for lack of transparency, no consultation with political parties, and issuing last-minute notifications without any explanation. The party demanded an immediate written clarification and accused the SEC of undermining confidence in the electoral process through inconsistent and opaque decision-making.
