Panaji: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa has announced the appointment of Taluka Incharges across the state to spearhead preparations for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections. This move is aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and ensuring local issues are raised at the state level.

The appointed leaders are Sunil Signapurkar (Pernem), Shrikrishna Parab (Bicholim, Sattari), Rajesh Kalangutkar (Bardez), Vibhas Prabhudesai (Tiswadi), Sandesh Teleikar Dessai (Mormugao), Prof. Ramarao Wagh (Ponda), Gerson Gomes (Salcete), James Fernandes (Quepem, Dharbandora), Patricia Fernandes (Sanguem) and Prashant Naik (Canacona).

AAP Goa State President Adv. Amit Palekar emphasised that the party’s focus is on defeating the BJP and to offer a alternative clean governance to the people of Goa.

He said,“Our taluka incharges are leaders who are already working on the ground, closely connected with people’s issues. They understand the daily struggles of Goans, and their experience will further encourage the team. AAP has always believed that real governance is about public participation, not top-down decisions.”

With this step, AAP has given a strong signal that it is fully prepared for the ZP elections and committed to building a people-driven movement across Goa.

Former Delhi CM and AAP Goa In-charge Atishi congratulated all the newly appointed leaders and encouraged them to continue working closely with people on the ground.
