Panaji: ACS-GOA (Academy of Combat Sports – Goa) created history at the WAKO Goa State Kickboxing Championship 2026 by delivering an exceptional performance under the dedicated guidance and leadership of Coach Ronnyy.
Out of 10 participating athletes, ACS-GOA achieved a remarkable 100 percent success rate, securing an impressive tally of 10 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 1 Bronze Medal. The academy also earned the Overall 2nd Ranking at the championship, reflecting the hard work, discipline, determination, and fighting spirit of the athletes.
Erica J De Sequeira expressed pride and gratitude towards Coach Ronnyy for his sacrifices, dedication, and rigorous training sessions that helped shape the athletes into stronger fighters and individuals. She stated that the achievement would not have been possible without his constant support and guidance.
The academy also acknowledged the professional support and mentorship provided by Fight Lab and MMA Insanity Goa for contributing towards the development of skilled fighters and future champions.
Among the notable performances, Erica J De Sequeira, Pradhyum Naik, Francis Fernandes, Parvez Fernandes, Giovanna De Sequeira, Zarana Janalal, Nilesh Janalal, and Dashil D’Souza secured Gold Medals in their respective categories. Viraj Vasta won a Gold and Silver Medal, while Sarvambh Sawant delivered an impressive performance with one Gold and two Silver Medals in K1 fights.
The championship marked a major milestone for several athletes, especially those competing on the highly competitive K1 platform for the first time. Their performances showcased confidence, courage, and true sporting spirit.
