Panaji, 28th November 2024: Royal Enfield, the global leader in mid-size motorcycles, has launched the Goan Classic 350, a bobber-inspired motorcycle that pays homage to the free-spirited moto-culture of Goa in the 1970s and 1980s. The new motorcycle was unveiled at Motoverse in Goa, blending the brand’s iconic heritage with the laid-back and bohemian lifestyle of Goa’s golden era.
The Goan Classic 350 is powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 349cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. Designed for smooth, unhurried riding, it features a 5-speed gearbox, dual-channel ABS, and tubeless spoke wheels with whitewall tyres. Its low-slung silhouette, single floating rider seat, mid-ape handlebars, and chopped fenders embody the essence of custom bobber culture.
Speaking at the launch, Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd., described the Goan Classic as “a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of freedom and individuality that defines Royal Enfield and Goa’s moto-culture.” B. Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, added that the motorcycle seamlessly blends classic design with modern engineering, making it an ideal choice for riders who value both style and comfort.
Available in four vibrant single and dual-tone colorways—Shack Black, Rave Red, Purple Haze, and Trip Teal—the Goan Classic 350 is priced at INR 2,35,000/-* and INR 2,38,000/-*, respectively. Each model features bespoke tank badges, slashed-cut silencers, and chrome accents that enhance its bobber-inspired look.
The motorcycle also comes equipped with modern features like a digital dashboard with Tripper navigation, LED lighting, and a USB Type-C charging port. Riders can further personalise their bikes with a range of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, including custom seats, touring handlebars, and bar-end mirrors.
As a nod to Goa’s bohemian roots, Royal Enfield has also partnered with the fashion label Rafu’D to launch a clothing line inspired by the hippie counterculture of the ‘70s and ‘80s. The collection features natural fabrics, psychedelic prints, and oversized silhouettes, encapsulating Goa’s iconic “susegad” vibe.
Bookings and test rides for the Goan Classic 350 are now open, promising enthusiasts a chance to relive the freewheeling spirit of Goa’s moto-culture, reimagined for modern riders.
