Margao: The Action Taken Report tabled by the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has declared the Result of Budget 2022-23. The Result is very clear, “BJP Government has failed”. Government could not even score passing percentage on Budget 2022-23, charged Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
The Action Taken Report has revealed that only 34 percent of the total announcements made in the last Budget are completed and 62 percent are likely to be completed in 2023-24. The word ‘Likely’ further exposes incapability of the BJP Government to even complete the works beyond the targeted deadline, stated Yuri Alemao.
The two days of Budget Session has brought to light lot of missing facts and figures. Coincidentally the fate of 4 percent of the Budget Announcements is missing in the Action Taken Report presented by the Chief Minister, pointed Yuri Alemao.
