goaplusnewsPANAJI: The President of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Girish Chodankar on Saturday dared BJP to make public the so-called PAC report on Mining within 72 hours, which they had used decade ago to defame Congress in a 35 thousand crore mining scam. Meanwhile, All India Republican Party has extended support to Congress to win assembly election by sending BJP home.
“If BJP fails to make the PAC report public then it should apologize before the people of Goa and Congress Party for misleading voters to win elections.” Chodankar said.
Chodankar on Saturday addressed a press conference in Panaji and lambasted the BJP. AICC Media Incharge – Goa Alka Lamba, President of All India Republican Party Anand Surve, State President Dyaneshwar Warkhandakar and others were present on the occasion.
Alka Lamba welcomed the AIRP office bearers and their move to support Congress.
“After making allegations against Congress over the mining scam, BJP usurped the power twice. But it failed to investigate and recover the money. Now it should be clear why it didn’t investigate the matter and recover the money.” Chodankar pointed out.
He said that after Congress comes to power, every single allegation made against BJP will be investigated and action will be taken. “When I make allegations it becomes my responsibility to investigate it when my party comes to power. Otherwise it will be proved that I was making allegations to derive political gains.”He said.
“BJP have government center and also in State, then who stopped them investigating this matter.” He questioned.
He also dared BJP, along with AAP and TMC to come clear over their stand on three linear project and coal hub. “People of Goa are not demanding freebies, but they want to guarantee whether Goa will be made coal free and three linear project will be rejected. These parties are not speaking on these issues as they are linked to Adani and Zindal, who are their god fathers and financers.” Chodankar charged.
Alka Lamba said that according to a report of Association of Democratic Reforms, BJP has 4847 crore rupees in its coffers in 2019-20, which was mere 780 crore in 2013-14. “BJP should tell from where this money has come.” She questioned.
Anand Surve said that Goa is suffering due to unemployment, inflation and three linear project. “we need to send BJP home and hence we are supporting Congress to win the elections.” Surve said.
