Panaji: Goa Pradesh Youth Congress President Archit Ñaik has strongly condemned the alleged provocative statements made by Gautam Khattar, stating that such remarks are an attempt to incite communal disharmony in the state.
In a media statement, Ñaik emphasized that Goa has a long-standing tradition of peace, unity, and communal harmony, which must be preserved at all costs. He asserted that any effort to disrupt the state’s secular fabric would not be tolerated by its people.
Highlighting his personal stance, Ñaik said that as a Hindu, he believes in respecting all communities and upholding the inclusive values that Goa represents.
He further demanded the immediate arrest of Gautam Khattar and called on the BJP-led government in Goa to take strict and swift action in the matter. Ñaik added that the government must demonstrate its commitment to maintaining law and order and safeguarding the unity of the state.
Reiterating his appeal, he stressed that protecting Goa’s peace and harmony should remain a top priority, urging authorities to act decisively against any attempts to create division.
