Margao – Single, Double, even Local Engines have failed Goa – no jobs, no land security, no real opportunities for locals. If Ladakh, as a Union Territory, can secure 85% reservation in govt jobs to protect its people, why can’t Goa? Maybe it’s time to rethink our status – before it’s too late. Let the debate begin, stated Madganvcho Awaaz & Youth Leader Prabhav Naik.

Reacting to the recent promulgation of a regulation by the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, which ensures an 85 percent job quota for locals in Union Territory Ladakh, Prabhav Naik has appealed to experts, environmentalists, legal minds, and social thinkers across Goa to initiate a serious and constructive debate on similar protections for Goans. He emphasized that this is a moment for reflection, not rhetoric.

For far too long, Goans have watched from the sidelines as decisions affecting their lives are made without them. With constitutional backing, reservations and safeguards can be put in place to prioritize locals in employment, education, and land rights. Goa, with its unique history, culture, and demography, deserves similar protection, claimed Prabhav Naik.
