Vagator: Hours after closing Sunburn’s stage 4 for playing music beyond permissible sound limit, Goa Police said the organisers can resume the Electronic Dance Music today provided they adhere to the law.
“We found that the stage 4 was playing music beyond permissible sound limit. Hence it was stopped but organizers can resume playing music within permissible limit today,” DySP Jivba Dalvi, who led the team to the EDM venue at Vagator, said.
Dalvi was seen acting tough by not only stopping the loud music but also ensuring the venue is free from any untoward incident including drugs trade.
In one of the videos that went viral, the DySP, who’s known as Singham of Goa Police, warned the representatives of the event to not interfere with the police action. Social media users have hailed the action of the police.
