Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources, Provedoria and Cooperation, Shri Subhash Shirodkar, on Friday attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of a retaining wall at Shelwada Nirankal in the Shiroda Constituency.
The programme was held in the presence of Zilla Panchayat Member Smt. Punam Samant, Sarpanch Shri Madhu Khandeparkar, Panch Member and BJP Shiroda President Shri Akshay Gonkar, Panch Shri Satyavan Samant, Panch Smt. Vidya Gonkar, Panch Smt. Vaishali Salelkar, and Junior Engineer of the Water Resources Department, Shri Sandesh Paiginkar.
The proposed retaining wall aims to prevent soil erosion and protect nearby residential areas, thereby ensuring safety and long-term stability of infrastructure in the locality. The project is expected to benefit residents by strengthening flood prevention measures and improving overall safety in the area.
