Reacting to the DGP’s clarification on the Sulaiman Siddiqui case, social activist Kashinath Shetye has questioned the absence of a thorough investigation. “Why not investigate the DGP himself before issuing a clean chit? Or are you trying to deceive yourself?” Shetye remarked.
He further warned, “If a proper explanation is not provided to the people of Goa, we will be compelled to demand a CBI inquiry. Let this be noted—we won’t hesitate to approach the Hon’ble High Court if necessary.”
