Panaji: Škoda Auto India has unveiled the new Kushaq, further strengthening its India 2.0 strategy with a host of segment-first features, upgraded technology, and enhanced safety. Designed to “democratise European engineering” for Indian roads, the updated Kushaq comes with a new eight-speed torque converter automatic, panoramic sunroof, rear seat massage function, and modernised interiors.

The SUV now features Škoda’s Modern Solid design language, highlighted by a refreshed grille with illuminated elements, new LED headlamps and connected taillamps, along with the Monte Carlo badge available from launch. Three new colour options – Shimla Green, Steel Grey and Cherry Red – have also been introduced.

Under the hood, the Kushaq offers a 1.0 TSI engine with a six-speed manual or a new 8-speed automatic, while the more powerful 1.5 TSI engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG. The 1.5 TSI variant now also gets disc brakes on all wheels.

Inside, the SUV features a panoramic sunroof, ventilated electric seats, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an AI-powered voice assistant integrated with Google Automotive. Safety remains a strong focus with a 5-star Global NCAP rating, six airbags as standard, and over 25 safety features across all variants.

Škoda has also introduced its new ‘Super Care’ package, offering a 4-year/1,00,000 km warranty, roadside assistance, and four free labour services. Bookings for the new Kushaq are now open at ₹15,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of March 2026.

The updated Kushaq reinforces Škoda’s commitment to safety, comfort, and advanced technology, while strengthening its SUV lineup in the Indian market.
