Cumbharjua, [11 aug] – In a bid to strengthen the quality of education and promote digital learning, Zilla Panchayat Member Siddesh Shripad Naik handed over a modern sound system and a smart class board to PM Shri SSV High School, Cumbharjua. The initiative was funded entirely through Zilla Panchayat development funds, reflecting Siddesh’s continued commitment to improving facilities in local schools.
Speaking at the program, Siddesh highlighted that education is the foundation of community progress, and modern infrastructure plays a vital role in ensuring quality learning. “We must focus not only on improving infrastructure but also on holistic human development. Education must empower students to become good citizens with strong values and knowledge,” he said.
He also took the opportunity to appeal to the students and staff to participate wholeheartedly in the upcoming Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, underlining that the national flag is the symbol of our pride, unity, and patriotism.
The event was attended by PTA Chairman Krishna Sawant, Senior Teacher Smt. Smita Khedekar, Ex-Panch Prashant Bhandare, Varsha Naik, Kirtisha Shet, and several other dignitaries who graced the dais. Teachers, students, and parents expressed their gratitude for the contribution, noting that the equipment will greatly enhance the learning environment.
Concluding his address, Siddesh stated, “If we want a strong nation tomorrow, we must invest in the education of our children today. Every child should have the tools, opportunities, and inspiration to dream big and achieve their potential.”
