Panaji: May 28, 2024: The Government of Goa’s Electricity Department has announced a series of power shutdowns in Panaji to facilitate essential maintenance work. The planned outages will take place from May 29 to May 31, 2024, affecting various areas within the city.
On May 29, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, maintenance work will be carried out on the 400 KVA Bhandari T/C and 400 KVA Peoples T/C at Mala, Panaji. The areas that will experience power outages include Healthway Hospital at Mala, Peoples High School, Hotel Panjim INN, Hotel Viva Panjim, Creek Cafe, Hotel Paradise Inn, Suzuki Showroom, Fundcao Oriente, Hotel Ria, Malo Waddo, and surrounding areas.
On May 30, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, there will be a power shutdown on the 400 KVA Jairam Complex T/C and 400 KVA PDA T/C at Mala, Panaji. Affected areas include Jairam Complex at Mala, Govind Kamat Hospital, NGPDA office, Sinari petrol pump, and nearby surrounding areas.
On May 31, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, maintenance will be conducted on the 400 KVA KTC Bus Stand T/C and 200 KVA Organic Waste Plant T/C at Patto, Panaji. The areas affected by this shutdown include KTC Bus Stand, Heera Petrol Pump, and surrounding areas.
Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power interruptions. The Electricity Department regrets any inconvenience caused to the public and requests consumers to take note of these maintenance activities.
