The Shigmotsav Parade, organized by the Panaji Shigmotsav Samiti on Saturday, March 22, 2025, witnessed a vibrant display of Goa’s cultural heritage, with colorful Chitrarath floats, rhythmic Romtamel performances, and creative individual fancy dress competitions. The Dempo Group of Companies proudly sponsored the prizes, recognizing the outstanding efforts of the participants.
Chitrarath Competition Winners
1st Prize: Triveni Kala Sangh, Durgabhat, Ponda (₹15,000)
4th Prize: Shree Dev Dhadeshwar Sports & Cultural Club, Nerul
5th Prize: Dhadsakhal Star Sports Cultural Club, Khandola
Consolation Prizes were awarded to 20 groups, including Bal Gopal Kala Saunskritik Mandal, Chimbel, and Shivray Yuvak Mandal, Sanguem, for their dedication and artistic creativity.
Consolation prizes in this category were awarded to 10 teams, including Shree Swarsai Shigmotsav Mandal, Mapusa, and Shree Paikdev Shigmotsav Samiti, Sanguem.
