Panaji: In a significant development for Konkani cinema, Prathamesh Films, in association with Bymistake Motion Pictures, has announced one of the most ambitious and high-budget Konkani film projects to date.
Producer Prathamesh Dinesh Naik stated that the vision behind the project is rooted in the belief that Goan stories deserve to be told with scale, dignity, and national ambition. He described the film as an unprecedented investment for the Konkani market, driven not merely by commercial interests but by a commitment to support local talent and elevate Goan cinema to a national platform.
For the project, the production house has collaborated with filmmaker Aniket Arun Naik, who previously delivered the Konkani hit Amizade and expanded the theatrical reach of Konkani cinema as a distributor with Aai Saiba!, which reportedly crossed 300 shows in multiplexes within four weeks.
Marking his return to direction, Aniket Arun Naik will helm a power-packed action drama deeply rooted in Goan culture. The film is expected to blend high-octane action with an emotionally driven narrative that celebrates the spirit, identity, and resilience of Goa.
