Panaji ; 11 July 2023- Leader of the Opposition, Yuri Alemao, announced on Tuesday that all seven MLAs from the opposition parties will collaborate on a collective strategy during the upcoming monsoon session of the Assembly.
Representatives from the Congress, AAP, Revolutionary Goans Party, and Goa Forward Party participated in a joint meeting to discuss the session’s strategy.
Alemao emphasized the importance of unity among the opposition MLAs for the benefit of Goa. He stated, “A united opposition is the current trend,” during a press conference.
Various issues, including corruption, governance failures, rising crime rates, inadequate protection of the Mhadei river, challenges in the smart city project, and the stagnation of the mining industry, will be raised by the opposition members on the floor of the House.
By working together, the opposition aims to expose the government’s shortcomings and hold them accountable for their actions.
