On 12/03/2024 Shri Uday s/o Sitaram Chodankar, 53 yrs r/o H. No. 1251, Soniwada, Thivim Bardez Goa complained that on 12/03/2024 at 12.00 hrs at Soniwada, Thivim, Bardez Goa accused person namely Sagar s/o Suresh Shirodkar, age 36 yrs r/o H. No. 1251, Painwada, Thivim Bardez Goa abused him with filthy words and further assaulted him with wooden danda on his right leg & fist blows on his face causing him bodily injuries and further threatened him with dire consequences to cut him in pieces.
In this connection Colvale PS Cr. No. 20/2024 u/s 324, 504, 506(ii) IPC stands registered on 12/03/2024.
Accused/History sheeter Sagar Shirodkar who is notorious & active criminal has been externed from North Goa District as per order dtd. 25/09/2023 issued by District Magistrate, North Goa, Panaji for a period of six month which is still in force. Inspite of having knowledge that he has been externed from North Goa District, accused/history sheeter Sagar Shirodkar has disobeyed the order of the District Magistrate and visited his residence at Thivim, North Goa and committed the above crime. Accused/History Sagar Shirodkar was involved in 18 criminal cases/body offences registered at various police stations in Goa.
Today received specific and reliable information from sources that accused/history sheeter Sagar Shirodkar has again visited at his residence, accordingly a team consisting of Shri Vijay Rane PI Colvale, HC 5452 Rama Raut, PC 7341 Pravin Patil, PC 8247 Mandar Kambli and PC Driver Swapnil Phadte all of Colvale Police Station intercepted accused/history sheeter while he was trying to flee and apprehended from his residence and placed under arrest on 14/03/2024 at Colvale Police Station after observing all Supreme Court guidelines.
The case is under investigation with HC 5452 Rama Raut of Colvale Police Station under the supervision of PI Colvale Shri Vijay Rane and under the overall supervision of SP (North) Shri Akshat Kaushal, IPS and SDPO Mapusa Shri Vishwesh Karpe.
