Goa, June 14, 2023: In view of the World Blood Donor Day 2023 theme “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often”, CISF Mopa Airport unit encouraged their men and women to share life willingly by donating blood as often as possible and as a result 37 of their elite force donated blood willingly at Manipal Hospitals, Goa today. During the interaction with the CISF Forces, it was explained that Manipal Hospital Goa has an apheresis machine that enables one to donate only plasma when needed. Everyone present was encouraged to donate blood as often as possible, and made aware of the apheresis machine at Manipal hospitals Goa where donors could give plasma as often as possible to share life.
The CISF personnel were led by Inspector Somesh Soman and Inspector Ganesh Pandi and the Blood Donation was held at the Blood Bank of Manipal Hospitals Goa.
The blood donation camp was attended by Mr. Surendra Prasad- Hospital Director, Dr.Shekhar Salkar- Chief of Oncology dep’t, Shri. Hari Prasad -Sales and Marketing Head and Dr Dhaval Fadadu-Blood Bank In Charge
