Margao – Let us all continue our fight to protect our Lifeline Mother Mhadei, Let us continue to be the voice against destructive 3 Linear Projects, Let us commit ourselves to save Green Covers in Sanguem & Bio-diversity of Canacona by opposing IIT & Film City Projects. Let us protect Goa, stated Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.

Extending his Greetings on World Environment Day, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao has appealed to Goans to oppose Destructive Projects and protect Identity of Goa.

I am happy that the entire Nation has given a mandate to “Protect Constitution and Save Democracy”. It is now our responsibility to “Protect Environment and Save Goa”, said Yuri Alemao.

We are consistently raising our Voice against Three Linear Projects which will destroy Bio-diversity of Western Ghats and convert Goa into a Coal Hub. We are raising concerns on Goa getting converrted into a Desert due to Diversion of Mhadei, pointed Yuri Alemao.

I appeal to People of Goa to oppose Projects of IIT and Film City in Green Cover Land at Sanguem and Bio-diversity rich Bhagwati Plateu at Loliem-Canacona. If we protect our Environment, we will be able to breath fresh air, stated Yuri Alemao.

Congress Party will continue with our commitment to Save Environment, Forest and Wild Life. We need support of Goans to continue our mission of Protecting Identity of Goa. Let us work together to protect Identity of Goa, appealed Yuri Alemao.
