02,January 2025: Vinayak Decorators, a prominent event management company from Goa, has been entrusted with designing the tableaux for both Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh for the 2025 Republic Day parade in New Delhi. This achievement marks a historic milestone for Siddhesh Dessai, the company’s owner, as he becomes the first Goan to receive such an honor.
Renowned for their expertise in handling prestigious Goan events such as IFFI, Carnival, and Shigmotsav, Vinayak Decorators has previously created a tableau for Goa at the Republic Day parade. This year, their work will bring to life the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh on Kartavya Path, showcasing the diversity of India.
The project commenced with a traditional Hindu ritual led by Desai, who broke a coconut and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha of Lalbaugcha Raja, dedicating the endeavor to his late father, Vinayak Dessai.
The Republic Day parade, a highlight of the national celebrations, features elaborate tableaux from various states, reflecting the nation’s cultural mosaic. Siddhesh Dessai’s selection underscores the growing recognition of Goan talent on a national stage.
