Reacting to the latest reports of sharp decline in Activities at Dabolim Airport, Ghost House Numbers issued in Old Goa, Green Land given for Theme Park at Pernem, Attempts to push for IIT and Film City in Rivona and Canacona, Mess in Panaji Smart City, Leader of Opposition has given a clarion call to Goans to Rise and Save Goa.
It is proved time and again that any Project which is imposed without Detailed Project Report and without Evaluating and Assessing its Benefits to Goa and Goan has turned out to be Disastrous, stated Yuri Alemao.
Handing over of Huge Land to Zuari Agro Chemicals to set-up an Industry to provide Employment to Goans is an example which Goans should not ignore. The balance land is now used for Real Estate Development with no benefits to Goans, claimed Yuri Alemao.
People of Goa must realise that the BJP Government is all out to Destroy Goa to please Crony Capitalists. Projects are being forced on Goa by destroying Environment, Forests and Wildlife. Huge amounts are spent on Sub-standard works of Projects for Commissions & Kickbacks, pointed Yuri Alemao.
I had raised the issue of “Ghost Airport” last year in the Goa Assembly. The lastest report on Decline in Business at Dabolim has vindicated my Stand. People must not get emotional on Jumlas floated by BJP with an eye on Elections. Time has come to remain vigilant and question every move of the Government, said Yuri Alemao.
