Panjim, November 13, 2025:
Entrepreneur and social worker Pascal Fernandes from Corlim has officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa, marking his first entry into politics.
Pascal, who is actively involved with several social organizations including the Jaycees, Lions Club, IMC, and ITI Altinho, Panjim, announced his decision during a press interaction held in Panjim.
Expressing his reasons for joining, Pascal said, “I see AAP as the only party truly fighting against the BJP. This is the first time I am joining a political party, and I chose AAP for its strong focus on healthcare and education.”
AAP Working President and National Spokesperson Valmiki Naik welcomed Pascal into the party, stating, “New faces entering politics and choosing AAP reflects our intent and commitment towards Goa’s development and the welfare of its people.”
Also present at the event was AAP Joint Secretary Manoj Ghadi Amonkar, who remarked that Pascal’s inclusion would further strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in Corlim.
