CSC Diwas Celebrates 15 Years by Honoring VLE Excellence

Panjim, 26th July 2024: Celebrated 15 Years of CSC Diwas with a grand event at Central Library, Patto, honoring top performers who have significantly enhanced the accessibility and efficiency of government services across Goa.

The event was graced by the Honorable Minister for Information Technology, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte, OSD to the Minister of Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication, Goa Mr. Neville Noronha, Dr. Jaanvi Prabhudesai, Ms. Sangeeta Parab and Mr. Gautam Kharangate. The entire CSC Goa State team was present, along with nearly all CSC VLEs.
Goa CSC SPV State Head Shri. Dhaval Jadhav welcomed all the dignitaries and spoke about the dedication of CSC VLEs and their significant contributions.

In his address, Honorable Minister Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte emphasized the importance of collective effort and change. He remarked, “We must all work together to drive meaningful change. Goa stands out with its unique approach, and it’s essential to progress in the right direction. The strength and determination, particularly among women, are truly inspiring. Let’s start seeing these changes and create success stories together. We are committed to providing the necessary support to achieve this. Success isn’t just about Goa, it’s about each of you.”

Two Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) were awarded for their outstanding performance. Mr. Gous Mohammad Pir of Loutolim, Salcete, was recognized for completing 5,028 transactions, while Mr. Suresh Pujari of Cansaulim was honored for completing 4,876 transactions. Their exceptional work reflects the community’s strength and dedication.

Representatives from the insurance and banking sectors also attended the event, explaining their products and services while providing valuable information to the attendees. Two training sessions were held on SBI Life and a Lead Management System, further empowering the participants with essential skills and knowledge.

Looking ahead, training sessions for additional services are scheduled, and the Swayampurna e-bazaar initiative will soon be introduced in CSC. This initiative aims to reach a larger audience by promoting products made by self-help groups in the online market. CSC SPV State Manager, Shri. Suyog Dixit, extended the vote of thanks.
