Panaji: Social activist Shreha Dhargalkar has alleged that the Chief Minister’s recent statement on the “cash-for-job” issue has been exploited by certain individuals for personal vendettas. She highlighted the case of Aslam Makandar, who has been wrongfully accused by a social activist and a woman without providing proper documentation or proof.
Makandar, who was undergoing surgery and hospitalized during the time of the alleged incident, has clarified that the accusations against him are baseless. He has challenged the complainants to produce credible evidence before making further allegations.
Makandar further claimed that the social activist attempted to pressure his mother, an employee at a private hospital, to influence the case. However, their efforts to have her removed from her position were unsuccessful. Dhargalkar condemned the misuse of the Chief Minister’s statement and urged for more responsible actions when filing complaints of such a serious nature.
