PUNE: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant participated in the 27th Meeting of the Western Zonal Council, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting, held in Pune, saw the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Maharashtra Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Prafull Patel, along with other ministers and officials.
Key discussions focused on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other developmental priorities to enhance regional growth and cooperation. CM Sawant also presented Goa’s successful Solid Waste Management model, showcasing its impact and future plans for sustainable waste management.
