Panaji, 5 December 2025: Bicholim Police Station has been awarded the 5th Best Police Station in India for 2025 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, marking a proud achievement for Goa Police and the Home Department.
Under the leadership of PI Vijay Rane, SDPO Shridevi B. V., and former North Goa SP Rahul Gupta, the station consistently delivered outstanding results in crime control and detection—key factors highlighted in the national assessment.
Over the past six months, Bicholim PS has also undergone significant upgradation, including the creation of a child-friendly room, a gym, a quality canteen for staff, and improved, hygienic barracks. These infrastructural enhancements were among the major criteria evaluated during the Ministry’s independent survey conducted in September.
This national recognition stands as a testament to the dedication, efficiency, and continuous improvement demonstrated by the Bicholim Police Station team.
