Panaji: Anjuna Police today raided at Pacho restaurant, Anjuna and seized liquor W/Rs. 24,000/- which was stored illegally.
As per SDPO MAPUSA Jivba Dalvi they had received information that in view of upcoming panchayat election information was received that liquor is stored illegally for distribution among voters.
Hence a team consisting of PI Prashal Dessai, PSI Francisco, head constable Dnyaneshwar Gawandi, Yogesh Korgaonkar, Aniket Pednekar, Dipesh Chodankar and Anil Shirke conducted the raid and seized the liquor.
SDPO Jivba Dalvi informaed that such raids will continue.
