Panaji: BJP condemns the unfounded allegations leveled by the leader of the opposition made in his speech delivered at Raj Bhavan yesterday at the function organized by the Raj Bhavan to mark the conclusion of the Goa Gram Sampurna Yatra undertaken by the Governor of Goa. BJP says making such baseless political statements at the said function reflected the frustration of the Congress.
Hon’ble Goa Governor Shri PS Shreedharan Pillai Ji has concluded the Goa Gram Sampurna Yatra and there was a function held at Raj Bhavan in that regard yesterday which was also attended by the Hon’ble Governor of Kerala. The said Yatra was not a political one and was undertaken by the Hon’ble Governor of Goa by visiting the length and breadth of the State. However, at the concluding function organized by the Raj Bhavan and held yesterday at the Raj Bhavan , the Leader of the Opposition who was present there made unfounded political statements and baseless allegations against the Government in his speech which certainly does not augur well at a function organized by the Raj Bhavan and presided by the Governor. The Bhartiya Janata Party condemns the unfounded and baseless criticism levelled against the Government by leader of opposition while speaking at the said function in the august precincts of the Raj Bhavan.
Making such kind of baseless accusations against the Government at a function organised by the Governor and held at the Raj Bhavan only reflects the frustration of the Congress Party said Yatish Naik
He also said thaf the President of the Goa Congress has also criticised the Hon’ble Chief Minster for not attending the said function which criticism is baseless and unfounded as the Hon’ble Chief Minister was in Delhi in furtherance to his pre scheduled election campaign engagements there.
The Bhartiya Janata Party Government in the State under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant is working hard to provide good governance to the people of Goa. The State is witnessing remarkable pro people decisions and significant strides of progress and development which have led the people of the State to bestow 20 seats to the BJP in the recently held Assembly elections while returning Dr Sawant as the Chief Minister of Goa. The many signature projects to upgrade States infrastructure are nearing completion. The central Government under PM Modi ji’s leadership and the State Government under Dr Sawant’s leadership have embarked on a mission to provide people centric governance through pro people decisions and policies and the public has in full endorsement and support of the same accordingly bestowed mandate to the BJP in every election be it the Elections to the Village Panchayats, Zilla Panchayats Municipalities, Assembly or Parliament.
Hence the unfounded and baseless allegations levelled by the leader of opposition made at the said function organised by the Raj Bhavan and presided by the Governor only reflects the frustration of the Congress.
