Marago – I appreciate that Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has realised that BJP Government he is supporting in lieu of the IDC Chairmanship is not serious on health care of Goans. He must immediately withdraw his support to the Government for risking lives of people, demanded Congress General Secretary Moreno Rebelo.
Reacting to the statement made by Curtorim Independent MLA, Moreno Rebelo alleged that Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco woke up from his deep slumber after Congress Party launched protests against Sewage Tanker Mafia in Goa.
This is nothing but a publicity stunt of Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco to show his relevance. He reacted because Cortalim MLA held a meeting and exposed Government. He must walk the talk and quit from the Chairmanship of IDC and prove that for him health of people is above lucrative post, stated Moreno Rebelo.
I am shocked that four time MLA has no knowledge on the department which controls Water Tankers in Goa. This is evident from his own revealation that he had put a Legislative Assembly Question to Health Department asking “Whether Water Tankers supplying Water are Registered with Health Department” and the obious reply he got was “No”.
This proves that Curtorim MLA is still raw in legislative affairs and administrative knowledge. He has always played the role of “Fixer” with BJP and played “Victim Card” with electorate in Curtorim. People of Curtorim have now realised his true colours, Moreno Rebelo said.
He should also know that Department of Food & Drugs Administration headed by one of his patron Vishwajit Rane has raised its hand on monitoring & control over Water Tankers. Government must constitute a “Nodal Agency” comprising of WRD, RTO, Police, Health and FDA Officials to regulate, control and monitor Water Tanker business in Goa, demanded Moreno Rebelo.
